Alumni Family Serve Day

Join the rest of the Mount Paran Christian School community for Family Serve Day at Goshen Valley Boys Ranch on April 25! This opportunity brings alumni together to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and fulfill the calling of our shared MPCS mission to be servant-leaders.

Goshen Valley Boys Ranch is the number one foster home for boys in Georgia, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in need. Their dedicated staff works tirelessly to offer structure, care, and development. We are honored to partner with them in their mission.

On Family Serve Day, we will be landscaping, cleaning, and accomplishing various service projects, ensuring the boys have a well-maintained and welcoming place to call home. We will meet at Goshen Valley Boys Ranch (387 Goshen Church Way, Waleska, GA 30183) at 9:00 a.m. and work together until 1:00 p.m. Whether you come alone or bring your family, your time and effort will make a lasting difference. We can’t wait to serve alongside you and continue making an impact as an MPCS family. Thank you for being part of this special day!

Upcoming MPCS Alumni Council Meeting Dates

• September 4th, 2024 – Quarterly Meeting, On Campus, 6:00 p.m.
• November 12th, 2024 – Quarterly Meeting, On Campus, 6:00 p.m.
• February 11th, 2025 – Quarterly Meeting, On MPCS Campus, 6:00 p.m.
• June 13th, 2025 – Quarterly Meeting; Year-End Celebration, Off-Campus Location

We invite those alumni in the area to bring their toddlers and preschoolers, ages 2-6, to learn through hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) exploration. Children will conduct experiments, explore math concepts, problem-solve construction challenges, and create masterpieces. Each session, we will be exploring new, themed educational projects with early-childhood experts in the MPCS preschool. Plan to attend a spring or fall session!

The MPCS Network provides you with a digital platform designed to connect businesses with families and families with businesses, as well as professional industry contacts. Taking it one step further than LinkedIn, you will now have the power to connect personally and professionally with everyone in our MPCS community. This platform is designed to serve businesses as well as our alumni community. Read below to get a brief idea of what this platform can do for you! And, yes, you can download our app. Learn about the key features of the network.

Through the directory, you can find people and the contact information of anyone affiliated with our MPCS community. Please set up your professional profile upon registration in order for you to make full use of the platform. Much like LinkedIn, alumni can use the Network for internships or positions through business contacts among our MPCS families.

This is the place to find specific vendor or services, while also supporting the MPCS community.

You can post your business in this directory or seek services from those businesses owned/operated by anyone within the MPCS community. The board enables companies to add service promotions and discounts to those affiliated with the school. 

Whether you are seeking to be a mentor to a mentee, use the mentoring hub to be a part of the all-important networking piece of the platform. It is here where you can find career guidance, as well as industry connections and job recommendations.

Access the jobs feature to either seek job opportunities (job board) or offer job opportunities for others. You will be able to see the companies/businesses of registered users in the MPCS network who may have specific employment needs at any particular time. This is also the place to learn of current internships being offered by employers within the MPCS community.

This is the landing page each time you sign onto the network. From this page, you will be able to read and interact with content that is most relevant to you. It is here that you will find the most recent updates on businesses as well as alumni news and life stories. This is also the place to give solicited input and to be a part of conversations related to being an alumnus of MPCS. You can post alumni-related news or business information in the news feed.

The events page will keep you informed of relevant school-related networking events, particularly alumni-related events that occur throughout the school year. It is here that you will also sign up for special events that require registration.
