MPCS chooses to offer a full array of up to 23 AP courses because they are universally accepted at all universities for college course credit (depending on exam score), whereas dual enrollment credit transfers are not always guaranteed. Currently, 35 honors courses across all subject areas offer additional rigor and demonstrate to colleges a student's willingness to be challenged.
Whether in the classroom, on the stage, or on the playing field, at MPCS, Christ is preeminent and His Word is lived-out. Students at every grade level are provided weekly opportunities to practice their faith through worship and Bible classes. Biblical immersion happens throughout all academic classes to bolster faith and student discipleship.
MPCS is committed to being a welcoming and nurturing environment with diverse staff and students who reflect God’s Kingdom in all areas, such as diversity in socioeconomics, cultural ethnicity, and learning styles.
Faculty in preschool through high school are invested, exemplary educators dedicated to impacting student lives for the Kingdom and teaching every subject through the lens of biblical Truth. MPCS teachers are state-certified/degreed in preschool through grade 5, and state-certified and/or hold discipline-specific/advanced degrees in middle and high school. With an average of 13+ years of experience, MPCS faculty and staff are fully-qualified experts in their field. Most importantly, they are committed to the mission and 100% believers in Jesus Christ.
Mount Paran Christian School is nestled in the shadow of historic Kennesaw Mountain with easy access to Marietta/Kennesaw, Barrett Parkway, Cobb Parkway, I-75, and I-575. State-of-the-art athletics and performing arts facilities accompany academic buildings, including the newly constructed Murray Innovation Center. Walking paths and a six-acre lake complement our picturesque 68-acre wooded campus encircled by a gated entrance with full-time security.
Covenantally Christian, yet academically rigorous, MPCS is a place where faith and intellect grow as one.
Students are given every opportunity to excel in the classroom, with small student-teacher ratios and challenging course pathways. Uncompromising academics are in no way sacrificed due to our Christian faith; nowhere in scripture is mediocrity applauded. Our unwavering commitment to exemplary academics goes hand-in-hand with nurturing faith within the hearts and minds of our students.
Walking Side By Side
MPCS is a missional family. You’ve discovered a school that comes alongside parents and students in true partnership, guided by God’s word. Whether it be extra guidance in a fundamental math process or parenting tips for each age and stage, there's no doubt that all who set foot on our campus become truly known and loved.
With our intentional guidance, students reframe their view of obstacles as learning opportunities and seek God amidst the burden. Along the journey, they gain determination to discover and develop their natural, God-given talents. The end result? Confident, life-long learners with a mature faith to MOVE MOUNTAINS.
Getting to go through school in a Christ-centered environment is a game-changer. When a school prioritizes Jesus and lifting up his name with everything they do, it teaches us to live our lives for Him in everything we do. That’s something I still take with me every day.
