Parent Teacher Fellowship

PTF strives to create opportunities for fellowship with our families. It is our objective to accomplish this mission by

• Raising money to support academics through the purchase of instructional and educational materials;
• Providing opportunities for families to fellowship together in a small-school environment;
• Encouraging volunteerism and service to the MPCS family and the community-at-large;
• Providing hospitality for the MPCS teachers and staff;
• Communicating needs, events, and servant-leader opportunities;
• Striving for 100-percent family membership in the PTF.

Throughout the school year, the PTF sponsors a variety of fellowship events and initiatives for the MPCS family.

• Mother-Son Picnic — held in the fall for mothers and sons in lower school
• Dress-Down Days — PTF member children enjoy an extra full dress-down day once each semester. 
• MPCS Family Christmas — a campus-wide holiday fellowship event with preschool nativity, grade-level tree walk, cookie decorating, food trucks, Christmas chorus, toy drive, Christmas Market, and lighting of the great tree.
• Father-Daughter Dance — held near Valentine's Day for fathers and daughters in lower school.
• Birthdays — PTF sends each faculty member a birthday treat.
• Teacher Appreciation Week — With your support and membership, PTF honors our hard-working teachers with occasional food trucks and various other perks.
• Volunteerism — PTF encourages volunteerism in classrooms, grade-levels, assisting with events, and on the PTF committee. 

As our primary academic fundraiser, PTF sponsors the Auction each spring to help provide instructional technology and "extras" to enhance learning and benefit both teachers and students in the classroom. PTF also encourages renewing membership for each school year to monetarily support our teachers. 

• PTF Auction — a spectacular spring off-campus formal event featuring an upscale dinner and silent and live auction items for online bidding. The auction also allows for corporate sponsorship opportunities as well as donations.
• Membership — With your support and membership, PTF is able to honor and appreciate our hard-working teachers throughout the year. Membership is renewed for $25 annually.

Additionally, PTF welcomes all support and asks for committee volunteers each year. Thank you for helping to make academics and fellowship at MPCS the very best they can be.
