Exceptional Learning
Building on God-given Abilities
Mount Paran Christian School was founded on the belief that all children are uniquely created with distinct strengths upon which they can build.
Our instructors recognize the development of a student’s abilities and talents may evolve differently. Therefore, instructors seek to know each child deeply in order to personalize his or her path of learning.
Beginning in lower school, MPCS offers Directed Studies for those with learning differences, on-level classes, advanced classes (grades 5-12), accelerated courses, honors/AP paths, 1:1 technology (grades 3-12), and gifted instruction through our ENCORE program (grades 3-5). Though each learning journey may be diverse, academic excellence can be attained by every student.

Gifted and Accelerated Options
MPCS accommodates the advanced or gifted learner, one who tends to be a highly-motivated, critical thinker able to glean knowledge quickly and independently. Qualified faculty are equipped to challenge young learners with academic enrichment.
Finding the Right Academic Fit for All
As a covenantal Christian school, we build our academic programs and experiences around the needs of our mission-fit families. To that end, MPCS provides right-fit options for Christian families with multiple children who may each have diverse learning needs. Explore more about what this means.
At Your Fingertips
Our students will inherit a world of rapid change and increased personalization. Technology is revolutionizing how we communicate, how we work, and how we learn.
The emergence of powerful technologies, increasingly high-quality digital educational resources, and platforms capable of tailoring our teaching are significantly enhancing personalized, connected, real-world learning. Mount Paran Christian School recognizes this environment and engages our students through learning experiences, which drive diverse critical thinking, communication, collaboration, curiosity, and creativity.
Teaching our students to critically access and discern digital information, our Connected Learning Program and 1:1 devices equip students with more tools to think deeply, skillfully, and innovatively. Through this program, our teaching models become appropriately student-centered to help them apply that insight to the world in which they serve.
