Thank you

Thank you to all of our Mount Paran Christian School families for your tremendous response and support for this year's Annual Fund 1st in 10 Blitz. While our goal is always 100 percent parent participation, reaching 85 percent in just 10 days is remarkable! With a 90 percent parent participation achieved by school’s year-end last year, we hope to meet or exceed 90 percent this school year. Our Annual Fund dollar goal for 2017-2018 is set at $500,000 and we are currently at $460,700. With your faithful and loyal support, these valuable resources allow us to sustain and enhance our school's mission.
There is still time to make a gift if you have not had an opportunity to participate. You may use our online giving tool by clicking here. Thank you for being an important part of this culture of generous giving as together we are contributing to the success of our students.

Mount Paran Christian School is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Gifts to the Annual Fund are considered charitable gifts and are tax deductible as allowed by law. The 2017-2018 Annual Fund coincides with the school’s fiscal year that runs from July 1, 2017, to June 30, 2018. As a reminder, all pledge gifts are due in full by June 30, 2018.

Frequently Asked Questions

List of 4 frequently asked questions.

  • Q: Why is my participation important?

The first question that most outside constituencies ask before making a gift is, "What do your Board, staff, and parents contribute?" It is so important that we show support from within before we go to outside sources for contributions. Participation in the Annual Fund demonstrates to others that we, as the closest ones to the school, philanthropically support our mission. What better way to motivate other groups to give? MPCS faculty and staff have just completed a three-day Annual Fund giving campaign with 100 percent participation!
  • Q: Is my gift tax deductible?

Yes! All gifts to Mount Paran Christian School are tax-deductible as allowed by law. Upon receipt of your gift, MPCS Development Office will generate an acknowledgement letter which you may use as documentation when filing your taxes.
  • Q: How does my child benefit from the Annual Fund?

Every student at MPCS benefits from the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund provides the very things that most likely determined your choice to send your child to MPCS: small classes, exemplary teachers, resources many public schools cannot offer, exceptional offerings in exploratory subjects, more personal attention with individualized student learning, an unapologetically Christian environment, and so much more. Paying tuition gives your child access to all of this. Charitable gifts are necessary to help sustain and expand it. Giving to Annual Fund also helps keep tuition as low as possible for all families.
  • Q: What is an appropriate gift amount for the Annual Fund?

A gift of any amount is appreciated and counts towards the important participation measurements. Each donor is asked to prayerfully consider giving a meaningful gift at whatever level that may be for you that reflects your commitment to the school and your ability to give.
