Hello Alumni friends!
Thank you wonderful alumni, for coming back home to celebrate 2017 fall Homecoming festivities. With over 140 alumni in attendance, it was a great time to reconnect with classmates, faculty, and friends. We honored alumnus Wes Watt (’09) as Alumnus of the Year for his dedicated service to MPCS. Also, the Class of 2007 enjoyed a 10-year reunion gathering at Thanksgiving. What a great season of celebration and fellowship for MPCS alumni. We are already anticipating good times to come in the fall of 2018.
In looking ahead, 2018 will be an exciting time in the life of our alma mater. Not only will we welcome a new class of graduates as alumni, we will also be wishing God’s blessings upon our beloved headmaster, Dr. David Tilley, as he completes his final year at MPCS and retires.
Thank you, Dr. Tilley, for your strong leadership, abundant love,
and untiring service to our school.
Likewise, I am thrilled to welcome Dr. Timothy Wiens, along with his wife, Katie, and son Eliot, to our MPCS campus as he begins as new headmaster this fall.
Alumni, mark your calendars and save the date for the Annual Pre-Show Spring Alumni Reception. Join us on Saturday, March 17, 2018, for a joyful time of fellowship with alumni and staff. In addition, we will be celebrating the 10-Year Anniversary of the Murray Arts Center, and the high school performing arts team will be presenting the musical Oklahoma! It is going to be a phenomenal day! This has become a favorite event for all alumni. More details will follow shortly, so come out and support these talented students and enjoy catching up with your alumni family.
Finally, I am so proud of you, MPCS alumni. Seeing how the Lord continues to lead each of us truly brings me great joy! We are making a difference by being the servant-leaders MPCS prepared us to be. So stay connected and join us back on campus soon. It is an exciting time to be an MPC Eagle!
Love and blessings,
Taylor Mulkey Kinsey
