Mount Paran Christian School assists students in building a solid bridge between lower school and high school by helping them realize their gifts and values, while providing a safe and caring environment to explore, question, and develop. Over a three year period, students accumulate new levels of independence, while learning to manage the responsibilities that come with their new freedom.

Academics

The task for any middle school program is respecting and meeting the distinct learning and developmental needs of 11 to 14-year-old learners who are actively involved in maturing. Our faculty and staff design a tailored curriculum, instruction, and assessment for our students so that they may refine and develop their academic skills through learning activities that are exciting, challenging, and integrated with a Christian worldview.

Spiritual Life

Our commitment to Christian education permeates all that we do and everything that we strive to accomplish while helping our students develop a deeper relationship with God.

Biblical truths are integrated within the curriculum through every grade which enables our students to understand their world from a Christian perspective. There is nothing more exciting than to see a student form a close bond with Jesus Christ and how that joy reflects in every aspect of their academic and social life.

Activities

Growing. Stretching. Changing. Each student at his or her own pace. Entering sixth grade as an adolescent and graduating eighth as a young adult, the middle school years are exciting, unnerving, full of energy, and brimming with questions.

They will experience a two day caving trip that builds trust and bonds with peers, and learn to kayak and take up archery in our award-winning physical education program that not only promotes good health, but builds confidence. They will even flex their leadership and public speaking skills in the political arena of our Student Forum Convention.
