Adventures in learning come along every day at Mount Paran Christian School. It may be an archeological dig, hunting for insects, or becoming an “expert” in a chosen field. Perhaps you are learning “how to eat friend worms,” or practicing phonics by celebrating funny feet and silly socks. One day you are face-to-face with Johnny Appleseed, and another you are creating a bill for consideration by the legislature.
A strong commitment to providing an environment where children can actively and creatively learn about the world around them enables students to begin discovering their place in God's world.
Academics
Through the use of hands-on learning, students are engaged to think and apply new skills, resulting in the ability to make good choices, respect others and themselves, and grow confident in their beliefs and values.
Our teachers pledge to continuously increase academic achievement through the use of standard and innovative teaching techniques. They may not eat the fried worms, but they challenge their students to dream new ways to serve them up!
