If you are not familiar with Mount Paran Christian School you will want to do your homework. Each school has an individual personality. Here are a few steps to guide you in the process:

Visit MPCS

Mount Paran Christian School offers many ways for you to visit and become more familiar with the school. Open Houses are an excellent way to meet the administration, hear from current parents, and tour the school. Individual Tours may also be scheduled upon request.

Students entering grades 5 - 12 may shadow for one half of a school day with one of the current MPCS students. This is a special experience designed to inform the prospective student about the school's programs. It also serves to create a sense of familiarity and the comfort in knowing they will be able to find ways to become involved in school clubs, activities, and classes.

Students may shadow before the decision to apply, while in the process of application, or after a decision of admission has been received. It is up to each individual family to determine when it suits their needs.

Apply to MPCS

When you are ready to initiate an application, you may either download the new student application from the website, call the admission office to receive an application by mail, or pick up an application from the main office between 8-4 each school day. Applications may be returned by mail or submission to the main office during school hours.

The Process

Applications must be completed before a prospective student file may be reviewed. The Admission Committee will determine whether an applicant and their family will receive an interview through a preliminary review. Admission Procedures and criteria are attached to all applications.

Notification of Decisions

Beginning in January, applications submitted for the 2009-2010 school year, will be processed and reviewed on an ongoing basis, upon completion of the application.

Completing Registration

An accepted student must complete the registration paperwork and tuition obligations before a student may be considered enrolled.
